Vogue Paris Original Favorites & Vogue Couture Design

My Favorite Vogue Paris Original Patterns.

A feature of Patterns I have come accross as either purchased and wanting to reproduce into the real thing or on the wish list.

Molyneux 1629.
Circa 1966.

I fell for this pattern a long time ago & was able to purchase one in my size uncut and still sealed in its original plastic ! I intend to reproduce this one.
The side buttoning detail is so sign of the times .

One-Piece Dress. Princess line coat dress with side front button closing has rolled collar and seven-eighths length sleeves with cuffs. Detachable contrast collar, bow, cuffs and inside hem band.

Patou 2029.

I really visualise my mother in this one in her day...

Two piece dress and coat. Loose fitting A - line and dress in evening or street length. Coat with bias collar, has full length sleeve and pockets in side front seams. Dress top with contrast bias binding and bow, has shoulder and side zipper closing; cutaway armholes. A - line skirt with contrast bias hem band is attached to camisole.

Pierre Cardin 1941.

I saw this recently sell on a popular auction site for $78.00 ! Wow im not sure if hubby will let me mortgage the house for a pattern? I will ask though, worth a try.

Vogue Americana 2068.
Teal Traina

The crisp side pleat is so sophisticated, yet has an innocence about it.
I like the very 1960's buckle belt too.

Vogue Couture - Pucci.
Wonderful Mod cape with fron zip. Note the zip has the 60's circle pull tab. Hard to find now.

Vogue Couture Design V190
Beautiful neck design on both the dress and the coat. Wonderful 50's full skirt.

Vogue Paris Original 1048
The bell skirt is classic with a simple, yet elegant bateau neck line at front and plunging V at rear.

Vogue Couturier Design 2473.
